Visa has launched its first major UK social media drive, as part of a competition allowing customers to describe and win their ultimate football-viewing experience.
The Facebook promotion, entitled ‘Visa Fixer', encourages consumers to post their ideas on a Facebook page, with the best entries being offered a Visa pre-paid card worth £20,000 to recreate their dream football-watching scenario.
Visa will choose seven winning entries, first for each of England's group matches against USA, Algeria and Slovenia, and then for one game in each round leading to the final on 11 July. Visa will flag up the promotion with a re-run of its World Cup-themed ‘running man' TV ad, by Saatchi & Saatchi, as well as a number of virals to be streamed from its Facebook page and YouTube channel.
One of the virals stars Sky Sports presenters Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara, while another features beatboxing musician Beardyman.
